These gorgeous Red Carpet Divas have show-stopping hair (in a good way)! If your a Bride to be who is looking for inspirational elegant UpDo's to have to show your wedding day hair stylist, check out these winning looks that are bound to be timeless in your pictures for years to come.

Some of these hair styles can even be attempted at home as a DIY project... Inspiration: Set aside 3 magazine clippings from celeb, beauty, or wedding magazines of your favorite styles to attempt to immitate. When selecting these 3 favorites, be sure to keep in mind what styles best compliment your face shape, consider the time of year your getting married for weather purposes, stick with your classic style (you will want your groom to recognize you on wedding day ;), and last but not least choose a hair style that will compliment the cut and style of your wedding gown!
DIY: Once you have selected your 3 favorite inspirational hair styles, set aside 3 blank white pieces of paper and attach the small picture to it. Iist on each paper what tools you will need to accomplish this look (most of the items are found in every gal's bathroom drawer). Attempt each look (having a friend help you is a good idea) and take a photo of each look done on you. Attach the picture of you next to the inspirational magazine picture it matches so you can see how the look compares from the original to the one on you. Then mark a *Star Rating from 1 to 5 below your picture with each style.
Communicate with your Stylist: On the day of your hair trial, be sure to bring your 3 favorite hair inspiration photos with you to show your stylist. Present them to her so she can see how you rated them, explain what you like or don't like in each. You should then consult her on her expert advice she will be able to help guide you with what looks best with your face shape, you and the stylist may decide to combine the things you like best from all three looks into your own unique hairstyle, or she may say that she loved one of the looks you attempted and that she could bring out a different angle to it you may have been attempting. Most of all, you should feel comfortable with your stylist and be sure to say what you like or dislike. Your Wedding Day Hair Stylist (& makeup artist) should be friendly, understanding, and accomodating to trying multiple looks on you for your appointment until you feel confident that you have agreed on the perfect look to duplicate on wedding day... after all, You're The Bride!
Hair Accessories/Veil + Jewelry: Be sure to bring your jewelry/accessories and any headpiece/veil with you to your hair trial!!! You may love the hairdo without any hair accessories, but may hate it with them actually in - knowing this ahead of time can give you a better game plan. Also, how secure your hairpiece is will make a huge difference!
Dress: Depending on what style Wedding Gown you have chosen, I recommend arriving to your Makeup and Hair trial appointments with a shirt that has the same type of neckline. For example, if your gown is strapless then arrive to your appointment in a strapless top. If your gown is a halter style, then you should wear a halter top. This will allow you to see how the hair style will look with the cut of the dress. On your actual wedding day, you should definitely wear a top that is easy to take off without ruining your hair (this is a MUST)! My favorite is when the Bride wears a silky robe that ties while getting ready on wedding day: its comfortable, adorable when either white or wedding colors, and extra cute when it says "Bride" or "Soon to be Mrs..", great for pictures your photographer will be taking, and most importantly it won't mess up your pretty wedding day hair and makeup! A zip up, button down, or strapless top is also a good option.
Pictures: Once you have your ideal look accomplished, you will want to take a photo with your exact hair style choice, hair accessories, and your Jewelry on. Having your hair styled up, earings & necklace you'll be wearing on wedding day will give you a clear picture of how you will look on wedding day!
Makeup Tip: Try to schedule your Hair Trial on the same day as your Makeup Trial session... What look feels complete without a fresh face and pretty face? Having your face looking exactly the way you want it on your big day just before your Hair trial appointment will allow you to have 2 vendors taken care of on the same day (you'll love crossing things off your to do list!), and then being able to feel confident with your over-all look is whats most important... its the whole reason for scheduling trial appointments before your most important day!
Happy Styling :)
