I just love these fabulous Napkins from Plum Party that allow you to tuck your silverwear inside in such a cute way! What a great decor element to stand out at any Bridal Shower, Engagement Party, Backyard BBQ, Wedding, Baby Shower, Birthday Party, or pretty much any special event (can you tell we love them?)~
As spring is in sight, I hope that this sweet Inspiration Board of Lavender and shades of Purples bring a twinkle to your eyes! By focusing on unique pieces to incorporate in your wedding, such as: a comfortable and flattering Wedding Gown with Shape FX material (to flatter those curves you couldn't quite tone in time for the big day), show stopping fabulous heels in croc-effect material for you or your Bridesmaids to sport, an elegant and stylish Lavender Tie for your Groom and Groomsmen to sport down the aisle in Gucci, Agraria Petite Candle in fragrance of Lavender and Rosemary to thank your kind Wedding Party, Jewelry by Korto at Dillards to tie in the lavender theme, and this sweet featured cake by Babushka Bakery to bring all of your fragrant elements together; leaving your guests with an ultimate sweet taste when looking back on your wedding day! Remember to try to stick with at least one main color and pairing soft complementary shades throughout your day (use the color just enough, without going overboard with just one color).
David Caruso of Dynamic Events shares his insight on wedding trends for 2010. Check it out, I like what he shared about having a Lounge at the reception and adding color to cocktail drinks (even in champagne drinks). I do have to admit i laughed a little bit at the White Elephant in the video for them having a Mariachi Sombrero and not even talking about why they had it featured on camera... I am assuming he was going to mention it is also a fun idea to have a themed wedding such as a Mexican theme with bright colors and sombreros for your guests to take funny pictures with (thats the only thing i can think of haha)! Anyways, enjoy~
As I contemplated what theme to create for an inspiration board, I was reminded of my love for all things pretty & vintage! A twist on the shade of "something blue" these blues are sure to create a clean and pretty pallet in shades of mint blue, creams, ivory, and brown (or black hues like the typewriter keys). *FIND#1* Typewriter Key Wall Art {$349 from Pottery Barn} is a great piece of inspiration for your Table Numbers & Escort Cards. My Idea is to create your own DIY Board with letters in Typewriter fonts or numbers, you can lead your guests to find their seats on the board under the alphabet letter of their last name directing them to their table number - its super cute and easy to DIY! *FIND#2* Hawaiian Based Photographer James Rubio captured such a beautiful shot of Hot Heels sitting on top of a vintage typewriter - when creating this theme you have got to incorporate a unique or vintage typewriter {I recommend searching on ebay, local garage sales, or flea markets to find yourself one for your wedding. Having guests sign in on the typewriter for the Guest Book will be a hugely creative hit}! *FIND#3* Keys & Memories Etsy Shop created this adorable bouquet body, adorned with typewriter keys {you can purchase them by clicking their link above} its a cute idea to do the initials of you and your soon to be hubby, or to have your bridesmaids initials on their individual bouquets. *FIND#4* A great gift to give your Groom on your wedding to complete your Typewriter Theme are these sweet CuffLinks {from E&H @ $100, also visit Etsy Shops for some handmade at a better price}. *FIND#5* These Mint Green book boxes create a unique decor element {from Wisteria @ $44, or do your own DIY version with stacked vintage books}. Enjoy the Typewriter Madness~
I just love these sweet and light shades of pink for a spring or summer wedding! Incorporating a mix of multiple pink shades adds more excitement to your color pallet - I recommend choosing two or three shades of pink and one bold color such as silver to accent it or green for example. This will allow you to carry the same shades throughout your big day while not being overwhelming with just one shade of pink. Some of my favorite trends above are using ruffles that bring back a beautiful vintage feel with ruffles, lace, and feminine feel. Using ivory or pearl accents would also romanticize this pallet; have fun with your pinks!!

Celebrity Roselyn Sánchez recently tied the knot to her handsom beau Eric Winter, in her hometown of Puerto Rico. Each detail of their wedding was so well thought out! They had help from their talented coordinator Milly Centeno, of MC Coordinators Puerto Rico. I have to admit that her color pallet was so stunning and elegant with subtlety... Take some inspiration from their wedding photos: you have to do things simply, chic, detailed, and vibrant without overdoing it - they were point on! Congrats to the newlyweds~

"The silk organza gown (center) Sánchez wore for the ceremony had only one glitch: She had trouble walking in it! "I had to kick my legs to move down the aisle," says Sánchez. The actress slipped into the flirty silk-satin chiffon dress with feathers (right) for her 1st dance, & wore the silk-and-organza gown (left) later that night." I just adore this Deep Colored Inspiration Board... It brings such a warm and romantic feel to any wedding design! Incorporating deep bold colors with chic lighting adds quite an affect; especially when it comes to making an impact on Wedding Photos. Incorporating a subtle pattern in the same color scheme helps make the wedding flow from invitations, to programs, in the wedding party's attire (for grooms and groomsmen in ties and such), to the day of ceremony and reception decor. All I can say is "Wow, I am INSPIRED"!!!
Here's an example of how you can incorporate a beautiful table design for your wedding in an affordable way, and also allow you to put these items to use after your wedding has past as decor in your home! What a great way to remind you of your special day and allow you to be able to afford items for your dream wedding~ These items are realistic and cost effective that will come in handy in your newlywed home as well!
