I first have to mention an apology to my dedicated readers for being MIA on posting new blogs this past week... but there is a good reason ;) Aside from my busy work life of planning events, I have been hard at work to create a free download for all of you Chic Budget Brides out there!! Without further ado, here is our very first custom designed Invitation Suite - ENJOY!

I recommend printing on cardstock paper and using a paper trimmer for a more professional cut
I came across these cute invitation cards from Free Printables Online... You may be thinking "how could i possibly use those in my wedding"? Well, we were inspired by them to be used as invites for Engagement Parties! A special touch would be to print them on thick cardstock or thick gloss paper (8.5 x 11 paper size) and print on the backside with your Engagement Picture, enclose the invite in a nice quality envelope, be sure to stick on a cute Return Address Label, and Voila - you have yourself one creative and affordible Engagement/Photo Invitation!

I just love this font "Outlaw" from DaFont.com for a south western wedding theme! I recommend using the same font throughout wedding prints such as Save The Date Card, Invitation, Menu, and so on (not for the entire fonts on each, but for the header fonts) as it makes the theme really stand out in a great way.

I just adore this Deep Colored Inspiration Board... It brings such a warm and romantic feel to any wedding design! Incorporating deep bold colors with chic lighting adds quite an affect; especially when it comes to making an impact on Wedding Photos. Incorporating a subtle pattern in the same color scheme helps make the wedding flow from invitations, to programs, in the wedding party's attire (for grooms and groomsmen in ties and such), to the day of ceremony and reception decor. All I can say is "Wow, I am INSPIRED"!!!
This awesome Invitation Set from Custom Printables is a great opportunity for you to save money, while still sending an elegant Invitation Set to your guests! I just love the fun design they chose to use throughout and hope you will too :) The Invitation Set Includes:
6x9 invitation (fits 6x9 envelope) 5.5x4 RSVP card, and5.5x4 Directions card (both fit A2 envelope). ZIP file includes both PNG and PDF files. Great for printing at VistaPrint or your home printer!
I just love these Anemone Flowers as they add a sweet touch to any wedding design. Sticking with a set flower to design your wedding theme will create a beautiful pallette to work around. See the inspiration below to see how you can use a specific flower in aspects such as Invitations, Menu's, Floral Accessories, Centerpieces, and you could even match a specific flower to a table cloth pattern or wedding gown with floral details. Enjoy~

I am a frequent Etsy.com online-window-shopper ;) and could literally spend hours upon hours in fascination at the unique creations the creative wedding and print shops have for sale... Stumbled upon the Belletristics - Aesthetic designs for the DIY Bride storefront and love that all of their items for sale seem to be pretty affordable and help cut down on costs if you visit your local Kelly Paper Company or other discount/wholesale paperies to get beautiful cardstock for lest and choose to print on your own at home (usually it ends up costing less by sending the file to staples since ink is so expensive these days and you may get a good price depending on the size of the bulk order - the only bummer is the price usually includes printing on simple matte cardstock or you just pay for their bulk printing and you supply your own upgraded paper). This shop seems to be flexible with personalizing colors, texts, and some other additions depending on the item and details of the order. Check em out~
