Just wanted to keep any of you dedicated Inspire The Bride readers in the loop that my Husband and I will be moving today... This means I may be a bit behind on posting this week. Bear with me as I do have to say, I have some exciting new blog posts coming soon (including Printable Thank You Wedding & Lingerie Cards) that you won't want to miss!!

It seems like each year there is less (and lesss) space for my Birthday candles to fit... Sure enough, time has flown by way to fast and we're already in October and now its My Birthday~
As a child, it seemed like I always counted down to my birthday from two months ahead and started all of the hype early (of course). Days seemed to drag on so slowly and the weeks seemed even longer. This year, my Husband actually had to inform me "hun, you realize that your Birthday is in less than a week, right?" I had a complete blank stare on my face. It honestly didn't really dawn on me until then that I was about to be another year older. Technically he can't make fun of me, since he is older than I and our Birthdays our only 7 days apart (im the 5th and he's the 12th).
Anyway, the whole reason I mention any of this is because I know many people say the fraise "time flies by so quickly", but it really is true. I am very thankful and feel blessed to look back on my childhood and smile, to see people around me today that have cheered me on from the get-go and now they are still there cheering me on. I have many of my close friends still from childhood and have learned what "true friends" should look like; inside and out. I have realised that some people may be in your life for only a short time, but you should always try to learn something from each person around you. Ask yourself this question often "How can we both grow as individuals from this friendship"? People really appreciate when someone takes the time to listen to your heart, offer advice when asked for it, and to be a support system.
As time rapidly passes us by, remember to pause in those special moments and hold them close to your heart, remember to enjoy lifes simple pleasures, and try to embrace your childlike spirit that is burried deep down inside (no matter how old you are)... go to that happy place where you can skip, dance, giggle, and sing as loud as your heart desires just like you did when you didn't know what the definition of "self-esteem" was!
I may be another year older today (even though many people would call me crazy if they heard me say i'm starting to feel the "aging process") but I feel blessed to be given another year to accomplish what I need to do with my time here in this crazy world. Blessed to have the opportunity to be creative, blessed by others, and sure blessed to have the opportunity to embrace my childlike sence of joy and laughter ;) Happy Birthday to Me and any of you October Birthday's out there!!!
After recently returning hone from our honeymoon in Maui on Tuesday, we were so blessed with an amazing work related weekend in Viva Las Vegas at the new Encore Hotel at Wynn. It felt as though we chose to have an extended honeymoon (even though it just so happen to be major coincidence)... I've had the pleasure of traveling and staying at some of the most amazing hotels (and having prior work experience in orange county hotels) but I have to see this resort sure reach the top of the charts in my book! We were in awe of everything the resort has to offer, the spectacular fine cuisine the hotel features in its many restaurants, and the ultra unique decor that brings vegas to a whole new level = a total decorators dream ;) I thought I would share my experience with you as it would be a great location to get your favorite gal pals together to celebrate your bachelorette party or even celebrate your honeymoon there in style~

The official pictures are in from La Boheme Photography from the recent May Wedding of Kevin & Candi Crawford... and they rock! First off, I have to say the event was a great success and couldn't have been done without my Amazing Team (thank you Maria and Kathy for your creativity and hard work)! Candi and Kevin chose the beautiful Ceremony location of Waverly Chapel in Santa Ana, CA and Reception Venue of Springfield Banquet Center in Fullerton, CA. The ever so crafty Bride, Candi, came up with the fun Scrabble Theme that was so fitting with the proposal story...
When Groom, Kevin, decided to pop the question, he decided to ask Candi to be his Wife during a playful game of Scrabble (which they always seemed to enjoy playing). Towards the end of the game, he spelt out the words "Will You Marry Me" and had Candi in shock when she finally figured out that he was actually asking HER to be his Bride!!! She chose to use the Scrabble elements throughout the design and decor of their Ceremony and Reception. From the escort cards, to place card settings of hot glued scrabble pieces with each guest name on a wood playing rack, to the scrabble text in their invitations and programs, this was one fun wedding that brought their story to life in such a special way.. Enjoy a peak at the pictures by La Boheme:

As some of you may know... I finally get to be "The Bride"! I have 26 days until the big day that I get to marry my other half and I can't wait! I thought I would share photos with you from my recent Bridal Shower Celebration. I had such an amazing time with close friends and family. My amazing Aunt Helen was so sweet to throw me my shower, she truly made the day so special for me - i will never forget what a meaningful day it was to spend with the ladies who mean the most to me.
As you can tell, I am extra girly! So any chance I get to parade in pink, enjoy sweet delights, sip tea, and put on my heels... I'M THERE :)
Planning showers and weddings for clients is truly so much different than doing it for my own big day, it has actually been a crazy but wonderful experience to get to be on the other end of things, I suppose it can only help me better understand my clients. Anyway, enough talk - enjoy the pink enthused inspiration~
