Inspiring Bridal Shower Tea of Jennifer Greene
Jennifer Green, Bride To Be on New Years Eve (what a special day to celebrate a joining of lives in marriage to kick off the new year) was showered with love and gifts by some very special ladies in her life! A dear friend to Jennifer and her family, Fabi Harris opened her beautiful home and honored Jennifer with a truly memorable Bridal Shower... Here are a few Inspiring pictures taken at Jen's Bridal Shower Tea, boy was it a fun event to attend!

I just love this idea: Heart Shaped Notecards were placed on the table that each had a Month of the Year written on them. Each guest was to write their name on the back of the card and list an activity for the newlyweds to do sometime during that month. I wrote down the month of June and suggested that the newlyweds take a Saturday drive down to Laguna Beach to visit the beautiful Art Galleries (where they usually serve Mamosa's or Champagne on weekends), then visit the Beautiful Montage Resort & Spa where they can enjoy live music in the Lobby Lounge and then take a stroll down their breathtaking Beach and enjoy the sun and summer brease together! What a fun way to make their first year of marriage memorable and exciting!!

I do have to say that they had some creative games to play at this extra special Bridal Shower. The Bride was blinefolded by the oh-so-talented host Fabi and then handed a suitecase where she then had to put the attire items on without seeing what they were. It was quite hilarious when she thought a slipper was an elbow pad and thought a nightgown was an apron ;) The idea was that she was Getting Ready for her Groom on their Honeymoon - so creative!
So much fun with Jennifer, the Beautiful Bride as she enjoyed her Luncheon Tea and all the pretty decor!
A special poem was read by the Bride's sweet friend Fabi Harris, who threw her the beautiful Bridal Shower. The Biblical poem mentioned significant wedding items (something old, new, borrowed, and blue) - as Fabi read the sweet words, she gifted Jennifer (The Bride to be), her Mother, and soon to be Mother In Law with the touching hankerchief with all the significant items shown in the photo above. If I were Martha Stewart, i'd call this "A Good Thing!"
They served the salad in a vintage teacup and i have to say it sure made the plate look adorable
Tea Sandwiches, Punch, Hot Tea, Scones, and so much more... They also had these cute candy favors in a decorative bag (pictured above)
Inspiration Board: Shades of Aquarium Blue

I just love these vibrant shades of Blue it reminds me of an aquarium and bold waves! By using objects in white in your wedding (such as a white decorative wood buffet and bar), White Linens and Dancefloor... You can sure get this amazing effect of vibrant blues by using special lighting to project shades of blues and bold patterns that will then transform your all white event into an Aqua glam wedding! I recommend having your bridesmaids dresses and groomsmen ties in the same shade of blue that you want to emphasize in your reception lighting, this will really allow the Bride to stand out in her all white gown and look radient in the blue lighting! DIY: How to make Custom Drink Stirrers
Don't you hate when you are at a bridal shower/wedding or any happy event and you get caught up in the festivities, put your drink down, and then have no idea which one is yours? We've got the solution to this pesky problem with this handy DIY project -- and they're so cute to boot!
Supplies:
1. Assorted decorative papers
2. Scissors
3. Glue - a glue stick works best for most papers
4. Wooden skewers or drink stirrers
5. Alphabet stickers - should coordinate with papers
Directions:
1. Cut decorative papers into 1" by 2" rectangles.
2. Apply glue and fold in half around tops of wooden skewers. Let dry.
3. Place flags and sheets of alphabet stickers next to drinks and allow guests to mark a flag with their initial - a first initial for a smaller gathering like a bridal shower, or first and last initials for larger events (if you go the second route, be sure to buy stickers that are appropriately sized). -Source-
DIY Download: Free Waterbottle Label Template
I just recently used this template for custom waterbottle labels at a recent wedding and they turned out so great! The Bride and Groom (the newly married Mr. & Mrs. Chris & Alissa Grossi) were going with Black and White Damask and Fuschia throughout their wedding theme and I was able to adjust this template to all have the damask background and changed all the text to the fuschia they had wanted... It looked so great in the custom welcome bags they had put together for all of their out of town guests!! Hope you can enjoy these as well, to download the Free Label Template, CLICK HERE!

DIY: How to Make Your very own... Party Banner!
Banners are a whimsical way of adding a touch of style to your big day festivities. We love them because they add a punch of color and pattern to just about any space. Hang them on a mantle, string them along your escort card table or dangle them on your cocktail hour bar. Here’s how to make them:
Materials
- Twine, string or filament
- Double sided decorative papers
- Fiskars punch with decorative edging
- Bone folder
- Scissors
- Glue
Directions
- Cut your patterned paper to the desired flag size. Keep in mind where you’ll be stringing them and how large or small they should be. We like the idea of making one template and tracing that shape on all of your papers.
- Take the Fiskars punch and create those pretty patterned edges.
- Now that you have your flag shapes, you’ll need to create a pocket. Make a fold at the top. (Tip: Here’s where you’ll want to take out the bone folder to perfect the crease.)
- Apply glue to the underside and wrap the edge around the string.
- Repeat with the other flags. Space accordingly based on how many you’d like hanging along each line. -Source-
