I recently attended a home party, featuring Jewelry Designs by Stella & Dot. I wasn't sure what to expect... I happen to not usually be a fan of the home shopping parties, only because i don't like making people feel pressured to buy (even though i happen to be a mary kay consultant - which i love! i just am not a fan of pressuring). Anyway, I attended the party and immediately fell for all the cute jewelry and accessories from Stella & Dot! From their fabulous display, incredible products, and right down to their adorable packaging!! I came across these cute invitation cards from Free Printables Online... You may be thinking "how could i possibly use those in my wedding"? Well, we were inspired by them to be used as invites for Engagement Parties! A special touch would be to print them on thick cardstock or thick gloss paper (8.5 x 11 paper size) and print on the backside with your Engagement Picture, enclose the invite in a nice quality envelope, be sure to stick on a cute Return Address Label, and Voila - you have yourself one creative and affordible Engagement/Photo Invitation!

As I contemplated what theme to create for an inspiration board, I was reminded of my love for all things pretty & vintage! A twist on the shade of "something blue" these blues are sure to create a clean and pretty pallet in shades of mint blue, creams, ivory, and brown (or black hues like the typewriter keys). *FIND#1* Typewriter Key Wall Art {$349 from Pottery Barn} is a great piece of inspiration for your Table Numbers & Escort Cards. My Idea is to create your own DIY Board with letters in Typewriter fonts or numbers, you can lead your guests to find their seats on the board under the alphabet letter of their last name directing them to their table number - its super cute and easy to DIY! *FIND#2* Hawaiian Based Photographer James Rubio captured such a beautiful shot of Hot Heels sitting on top of a vintage typewriter - when creating this theme you have got to incorporate a unique or vintage typewriter {I recommend searching on ebay, local garage sales, or flea markets to find yourself one for your wedding.
